DOTT’s Storytime: The Mystery Princess

The following is a story that DOTT and I came up with while playing “Once Upon a Time”. For more information, click here.

DOTT’s Storytime: The Mystery Princess

Once upon a time, there lived an Orphan, who got poisoned by a princess that disquised herself as a fairy.  She did this because she was frightened she would lose her beauty. A gypsy once told her that an orphan would cause her to lose her beauty.

There was a prince who had a magic axe and journeyed long and far. One night, he found the poisoned orphan laying in the woods. The prince rescued the orphan using the magic of the axe to cure him. The orphan was actually the King of the Wolves.  The Wolf King told the prince about what the princess did.

Time passed, and the prince was going to the castle to find the princess. He passed a giant by a big oak tree. The giant blocked the prince from going to the princess. The giant trapped the prince in a trap. But the giant was foolish, and he let the prince know that the princess was hiding in a church tower.

Meanwhile, the princess left the church tower and fell into a well.

The prince had a magic ring that made him fly, so he used it to escape the giant’s trap and flew to the church tower to find the princess.

The princess had gotten out of the well, but the Wolf King was there waiting for her.  He told her that she was his long lost daughter.
The prince, tracking the princess, came upon the meeting between daughter and father and, seeing her for the first time, immediately fell in love with the princess.

Suddenly, a tree came alive and grabbed the princess, carrying her off to a wicked witch. The Wolf King and the prince followed.  The Wolf King kissed the witch, it was the Wolf Queen, under a spell.

And the parents were reunited with the long lost child.

THE END!

STORY NOTES:  DOTT was again the winner of this game.  I had started the game, but got no farther than “Once upon a time there was an orphan….” before DOTT played an Interrupt card and took over by poisoning the orphan.  At that point, all I could do was sit back and enjoy the ride.
